Job summary

T. Baker Smith is seeking an IT Services Specialist to provide broad IT support, owning how computers are prepared, deployed, maintained, and replaced. You will report to the IT Support Manager and assist across multiple offices, onsite and remotely.

Ideal candidates will combine practical endpoint management experience with a security-minded approach and a willingness to leverage AI in daily IT tasks while protecting firm data.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business users and troubleshooting independently.
• Ability to understand how OS, apps, accounts and devices interact and investigate beyond the first symptom.
• Security-minded approach to everyday IT work and ability to protect information.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, peripheral, access, and connectivity issues.
• Prepare and deploy computers for new associates, replacements, and office needs.
• Improve standard configurations, application deployment packages, and setup documentation.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and support the full device lifecycle.
• Work with infrastructure staff on approved endpoint updates, security remediation, and technical improvements.
• Support associates onsite and remotely across multiple offices.
