T. Baker Smith is seeking an IT Services Specialist who enjoys solving problems and making everyday technology more dependable. Reporting to the IT Support Manager, you’ll provide broad IT support across the full device lifecycle.

Based in Houston, TX, this role offers hands-on opportunities to configure, deploy, and improve endpoint setups while collaborating with infrastructure teams and supporting multiple offices.

Competenze

• Practical experience supporting business users and independent troubleshooting.
• Understanding how operating systems, applications, accounts, and devices interact—and ability to investigate beyond the first symptom.
• Organization and communication skills with thorough problem solving.
• Experience with endpoint management, software deployment, or scripting to improve processes.
• Security-minded approach to protecting firm and client information; report suspicious activity.
• Open to using AI in everyday IT work and to evaluating approved tools while protecting information.

Mansioni

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, Windows, Microsoft 365, peripheral, access, and connectivity issues.
• Prepare and deploy computers for new associates, replacements, and office needs.
• Improve standard configurations, application deployment packages, and setup documentation.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and support the full device lifecycle.
• Collaborate with infrastructure staff on endpoint updates, security remediation, and improvements.
• Support associates onsite and remotely across multiple offices.
