Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an IT Specialist to join our on-site IT Services team in Seattle. The role provides advanced technical guidance, resolves complex issues, and collaborates with Level 1 and senior staff to maintain smooth technology operations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years' IT experience, strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, networks, and enterprise tools. On-call support and hands-on work are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2-4 years of experience in IT, helpdesk, or related role.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including system crashes and network connectivity issues.
• Manage and administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory).
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software applications.
• Monitor and maintain IT systems, perform patch management and basic server administration.
• Document and update IT service tickets with resolutions and escalate unresolved issues to Level 3.
• Contribute to IT knowledge base articles and self-service wikis.
• Support IT projects like system upgrades and migrations.
• Train and mentor Level 1 technicians on troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection protocols.
• Provide onboarding and offboarding IT support.
