Job summary

SpaceXAI in the United States is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our IT Services team. This full-time, on-site role provides advanced technical guidance and end-user support, resolving complex issues and collaborating with Level 1 and senior IT staff to keep our operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in IT, strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Active Directory, and common enterprise software, plus a commitment to outstanding customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 2–4 years of IT, helpdesk, or related technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS, Office Suite, and enterprise software.
• Troubleshooting network issues and basic server administration.
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and ticketing systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization and cloud services a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical assistance for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, or in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, including system crashes and network issues.
• Manage and administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls (Active Directory).
• Assist with deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Monitor IT systems, perform patch management, updates, and basic server administration.
• Document and update IT service tickets with resolutions and escalations.
• Contribute to and maintain IT knowledge base articles and self-service wikis.
• Support IT projects, such as upgrades or migrations.
• Train and mentor Level 1 technicians on troubleshooting techniques and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and data protection.
• Provide new hire onboarding and offboarding service support.
