Job summary

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking an IT support professional for the Rehabilitation & Correction - Operation Support Center in Columbus. This permanent, full-time role involves helping information system users, handling incident tickets, and supporting onboarding and IT projects within documented SLAs.

Qualifications

• 6 mos. combined work experience in computers/electronics or IT helpdesk support.
• Ability to follow established procedures for incident handling and user support.
• Knowledge of basic hardware, software, and customer service basics.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support to Information System users via Helpdesk.
• Create, analyze and route incident tickets per SLAs and security policies.
• Assist onboarding of new employees and coordinate with IT applications.
• Support projects and help maintain knowledgebase and documentation.
• Escalate and coordinate with IT Service Owners as required.
• Participate in meetings and trainings to stay current with technologies.
