Job summary

S1 Technology LLC is seeking an IT Project Manager in Lafayette, LA to lead client onboarding and long-term technology projects from kickoff to close. The role requires organized leadership, proactive planning, and clear communication across clients, technical teams, and leadership.

Responsibilities include building plans, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing scope and risks, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience managing IT projects or client onboarding in an MSP/IT services environment.
• Strong PM fundamentals: scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (technical, security, service desk).
• Excellent verbal and written communication with non-technical clients and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management and ticketing tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, Asana, Monday.com).
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and onboarding engagements.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of processes and client experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for long-term client projects.
• Serve as primary client contact, providing status updates and managing expectations.
• Coordinate internal resources across service desk, technical pod, and security teams.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, status calls, and closeout reviews; document decisions and actions.
• Manage project scope and change requests to stay aligned with contracts and SLAs.
• Identify and mitigate onboarding and project risks; escalate when needed.
