Job summary
Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature lean portfolio management across IT, partnering with business teams to deliver value-driven solutions. You will oversight portfolio governance, reporting, and key performance metrics including budget and schedule health.
You will guide cross-functional teams, optimize investments, and drive continuous improvement in Lean-Agile delivery within a large IT environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
- Seven or more years in IT program or project management with portfolio management experience.
- Experience with enterprise Agile frameworks and multiple delivery tools (SAFe, Kanban, Scrum).
- PMI-ACP, PMP or SAFe certifications are a plus.
- Strong relationship building with IT, Finance and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead lean portfolio management and value-driven delivery across IT.
- Manage portfolio budgets and forecasting with IT Finance.
- Develop and maintain portfolio reporting and KPI dashboards.
- Guide cross-functional teams and enable agile delivery across programs.
- Partner with executives to align investments with strategy.
- Coach teams on Lean-Agile practices and process improvements.
