Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Sr. IT Portfolio Manager to mature the lean portfolio and project framework across IT, fostering partnerships with IT and business teams to deliver strategic value.

The role combines lean portfolio principles with the existing technology portfolio to guide proactive decisions, manage risks, and ensure realization of benefits through effective reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Seven years+ IT program/project management with portfolio management experience.
• Experience with multiple Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and investment management capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead large cross-functional teams and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Mature lean portfolio and project management framework across IT.
• Develop value-oriented plans guiding proactive decision-making.
• Maintain portfolio status reporting standards for IT Leadership.
• Lead governance, budgeting, and resource management for the portfolio.
• Coach teams in Lean-Agile practices and continuous delivery.
