Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support enterprise-class data centers and ensure high availability of network infrastructure in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

The role focuses on on-site operations, monitoring, incident response, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to keep game-day systems running smoothly. You will work with Cisco Nexus/Arista/Meraki networks, firewalls, and cloud integrations, applying automation and scripting to streamline tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• CCNA and/or CCNP ITIL certifications preferred.
• Experience in a complex multisite environment.
• Willingness to provide game day support on major holidays when games are played.

Responsibilities

• System Monitoring: Leverage platforms such as SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability and performance.
• Incident Management: Lead network-related incident resolution, ensuring SLAs are met and escalating issues when necessary.
• Security Best Practices: Implement and support secure networking solutions, ensuring robust protection in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including topology maps and procedures for troubleshooting.
