Job summary

Blue Mantis is hiring an IT Operations Engineer for an onsite role in Mt Laurel, NJ. This 2nd shift position supports enterprise data centers, ensuring high availability and stellar performance of network and server infrastructure.

You’ll manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments, cloud workloads, and virtualization, while coordinating incident response and security best practices in a fast-paced, game-day environment. Weekend/holiday work is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Experience in multisite environments and game-day support.
CCNA/CCNP ITIL or equivalent certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Server Administration: Manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments for optimal performance.
Cloud Operations: Administer AWS/Azure/O365 workloads and containerization.
Virtualization: Configure and troubleshoot VMware-based infrastructure for scalability and availability.
System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure reliability and performance.
Incident Management: Lead incident resolution, meet SLAs and escalate when needed.
Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking across on-prem and cloud.
Documentation: Maintain topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
