Job summary

Blue Mantis is hiring an IT Operations Engineer for the on-site Mt Laurel NJ location on 2nd shift. The role focuses on ensuring high availability of network infrastructure, server and cloud environments, and supporting game-day operations for a major sports league.

The ideal candidate will multitask in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment and have experience across Windows, Linux, Unix, VMware, AWS, Azure, O365, and network security.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Nexus/Arista/Meraki, Windows/Linux/Unix, and ServiceNow.
• NOC operations knowledge with Windows/Linux/Unix and ServiceNow.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and virtualization/containerization.
• Backup/DR support with Rubrik and Zerto.
• Firewalls, routing, and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds).
• Automation tooling and scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments for optimal performance.
• Cloud Operations: Administer AWS, Azure, O365 for enterprise workloads and containers.
• Virtualization: Manage VMware environments for performance and availability.
• System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure reliability.
• Incident Management: Lead network incident resolution and SLAs.
• Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking in on-prem and cloud.
• Documentation: Create and maintain network topology maps and procedures.
