Job summary

Olin Corporation invites applications for an Infrastructure Intern (Summer 2027) in Houston, TX. The program supports the IT team with site coordination, infrastructure maintenance, and project execution to ensure reliable and secure technology operations.

You will lead at least three hands-on projects, serve as a local IT contact, assist with network maintenance and documentation, and help gather requirements for ongoing implementations.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0+ required; transcript provided each term.
• Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Valid US driver's license required.

Responsibilities

$30.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus

The Infrastructure Intern supports IT team with site coordination, infrastructure maintenance, and project execution to ensure reliable and secure technology operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
• Serve as a point of contact for site IT needs, helping communicate services, resolve issues, and support local projects
• Assist with infrastructure support including network maintenance, documentation, and compliance
• Contribute to projects by helping gather requirements, prepare documentation, and support implementation efforts

What You’ll Bring

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Cybersecurity, Networking, Management Systems, Computer Science, or related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work
• Must possess a valid US Driver's license*
