Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Technology Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Russellville, AR. The role supports the Technology Development team across laboratory, pilot plant, and manufacturing environments, gaining hands-on experience with process improvements and maintenance/reliability exposure.

The intern will lead multiple projects, assist with data analysis and experimental design, and contribute to product development efforts during the rotation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering program with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credit hours) prior to first rotation.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; not eligible for virtual work.

This role will have exposure to mechanical systems and manufacturing operations while gaining experience in maintenance and reliability.

What You’ll Do:

Lead a minimum of three hands‑on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.Assist with research, testing, data analysis, and technical documentationAnalyze operating and experimental data to identify trends, evaluate process performance, and recommend opportunities for improvementSupport test plans, including experimental design, data collection, and analysis to support process and product development projects

What You’ll Bring:

Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree programMust have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations. Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with OlinAbility to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual workMust be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license*Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship.
