Job summary

Olin is seeking an Infrastructure Intern (Summer 2027) to support the IT team across Clayton, MO and Houston, TX. The role involves coordinating infrastructure projects, maintaining reliable systems, and enhancing security operations. Housing stipend is available.

You will lead at least three hands-on projects, serve as a site IT contact, and help gather requirements and document implementations. 40 hours per week during the rotation with non-remote work.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year completed before first rotation.
• GPA 3.0+ overall on a 4.0 scale; transcript required.
• Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during rotation.
• Serve as the site IT point of contact for needs, issues and local projects.
• Assist with infrastructure support including network maintenance, documentation and compliance.
• Contribute to gathering requirements, documentation and implementation support.

Title: Infrastructure Intern (Summer 2027)

Locations: Clayton, MO; Houston, TX

Salary: $30.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Housing Stipend Available

Focus: The Infrastructure Intern supports IT team with site coordination, infrastructure maintenance, and project execution to ensure reliable and secure technology operations.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need.
• Serve as a point of contact for site IT needs, helping communicate services, resolve issues, and support local projects
• Assist with infrastructure support including network maintenance, documentation, and compliance
• Contribute to projects by helping gather requirements, prepare documentation, and support implementation efforts

What You'll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Cybersecurity, Networking, Management Systems, Computer Science, or related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Exposure to SAP and/or Cyber concepts preferred
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) during rotation; Not eligible for virtual work
• Must possess a valid US Driver's license
