Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technology Support Technician in the United States to provide direct IT support across multiple platforms including Wynne Rental-man, AS/400, and Microsoft Office. The role includes Tier II responsibilities and cross-training within CMIS.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in a similar role, knowledge of AS/400 systems, strong PC hardware/software skills, and excellent communication abilities. Base pay ranges with benefits are offered for full-time employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar IT helpdesk role.
• Degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of AS/400 systems.
• Strong PC hardware and software knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct technical support to end users via phone, email, walk-up and web.
• Serve as Tier II support and assist Level I technicians.
• Document, track and monitor problems for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure cross-training and communication.
