Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide direct technical support to end users via phone, email, walk-up and web across IT systems. This role includes Tier II support and collaboration with Tier I technicians to ensure service quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years demonstrated effectiveness in a similar role.
• Degree in computer science or related field (preferred, but not required).
• Knowledge of AS/400 systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
• Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.
• Provide 2nd level (Tier II) support to other helpdesk technicians.
• Work with other department team members to insure good cross communication and cross training.
