Job summary

Georgia Highlands College is seeking a part-time Student - Work Study IT to provide front-line helpdesk support including phone, email, remote and walk-in assistance to faculty, staff, and students.

The role will involve creating and tracking IT tickets, assisting Client Technology Specialists, and supporting IT projects within the Technology Division while adhering to college policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and current GHC student.
• Meeting SAP (Satisfactory Academic Progress).
• Enrolled for at least six (6) credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Provides frontline telephone, email, web, remote and in-person client and technical support to faculty, staff, and students.
• Creates tickets in ITS Ticketing System for helpdesk resolution and tracking.
• Assists Client Technology Specialists with providing services to end-users.
• Assists with projects within the Information Technology Division.
• Performs other assigned duties.
