Middle Georgia State University (MGA) is seeking a Student Assistant to support IT Services/Helpdesk at the Cochran campus. The role is part-time and temporary, assisting students with login issues, Office 365 setup, and IT ticket submissions.

On-site support includes helping with VCON classroom setups and general IT equipment handling. The ideal candidate is a current MGA student enrolled for at least 6 credits, with strong written and verbal communication and a customer-service mindset, able

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled Middle Georgia State University student with a minimum of 6 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with login issues with SWORDS, D2L and E-mail via phone or walk-in.
• Answer phone and assist students/faculty/staff with IT needs such as two-factor authentication resets, setting up Office 365, etc.
• Submit IT helpdesk tickets for faculty/staff.
• Setup VCON classrooms making sure cameras are on and positioned correctly and either in send/receive mode.
• Assists in organizing IT equipment.
• Assists with lifting and moving IT equipment.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
