Job summary

BendPak Inc. is seeking an entry level IT Help Desk team member in an office setting in California. You will assist the IT department with day-to-day back-end operations, manage end-user requests, and provide hands-on desk-side support to ensure business tasks run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Provide front line help desk support via phone and email.
• Document steps and resolutions for tickets in the tracking system.
• Assist end users with problem identification, troubleshooting and resolution.
• Demonstrate strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Field incoming help requests from end users in a courteous manner.
• Offer email and telephone support to internal and external clients.
• Use help desk software to track tasks and update status.
• Document troubleshooting steps and final resolutions for tickets.
• Assist with issue identification, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Build rapport with clients and coordinate with peers and management.
• Prioritize and escalate issues as needed to the next level.
• Provide hands-on desktop support and basic hardware maintenance.
• Create and update knowledge base articles and procedures.
• Monitor system notifications and respond to high priority incidents.
