Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PC hardware, networking protocols, and mobile operating systems.
• Familiarization with Google Chrome Applications.
• Familiarization with troubleshooting and setup of printers, laptops, and network equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receives inquiries about district hardware, software, and web-based applications and provides direct customer support.
• Diagnoses issues, guides end-users through steps to resolve problems and reach solutions.
• Prioritizes requests and escalates complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Uses the work order system to enter, track, and route service requests.
• Maintains service logs, runs reports, and coordinates with other departments and vendors.
• Stays current on technology trends and suggests solutions and resources.
• Performs admin duties for district databases and software with FERPA compliance.
• Develops user manuals and training materials for problem resolution.
• Participates in staff development and may provide on-site hands-on support.
• May be part of project teams for software implementations or upgrades.
• May require varying work hours.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
