Job summary

Liberty Mountain is seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to help employees with issues on individual systems and troubleshoot companywide problems. The role requires experience with both PCs and Macs and a basic understanding of networking, with the possibility of part-time or full-time hours in Sandy, UT.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, apply patches, assist with printers and VPN access, and communicate progress while escalating complex cases when needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
• Strong understanding of both Mac and PC hardware and operating systems.
• Familiarity with networking infrastructure and VPN software is preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues across platforms.
• Ability to research complex issues as needed and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose software and hardware problems on PC and Mac and resolve issues.
• Prioritize issues logged and process them by importance.
• Update systems with the latest patches and security updates.
• Resolve printing issues and maintain printer functionality.
• Troubleshoot networking and downtime issues.
• Isolate performance issues to identify root causes and fix them.
• Communicate work performed and escalate unresolved issues.
