Job summary

Flad Architects in Madison, WI is seeking a Computer Support Specialist to join our IT team. You will handle Service Desk calls, log tickets, and provide basic to intermediate troubleshooting for standard software applications, escalating complex issues as needed.

This role supports end-user hardware, mobile devices, conference room tech, and onboarding new employees. A two-year technology degree and at least one year of help desk experience are required, with hybrid work options and generous

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant help desk or IT service desk experience.
• Minimum one year of experience with Microsoft Windows 11, Office 365, videoconferencing solutions, and other standard office applications.
• Minimum one year performing application support.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and desktop publishing/design applications preferred.
• Minimum one year experience with Intel-based desktop and laptop hardware.
• Familiarity with Windows desktop imaging and management systems, PowerShell and batch scripting preferred.
• Practical experience with recent Apple hardware and software preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting devices on a TCP/IP based network.

Responsibilities

• Answer, respond, resolve, and log Service Desk calls and tickets.
• Provide first-level to intermediate technical support for troubleshooting problems and standard software applications.
• Escalate tickets to appropriate staff and ensure resolution.
• Install end-user software, upgrades, and migrations; set up workstations.
