Job summary

Old World Industries, a Northbrook, Illinois-based leader in automotive aftermarket products, seeks an IT Help Desk Specialist to provide frontline support for hardware, software, and network issues. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least 3 days per week and focuses on ticketing, user accounts, and documentation.

You will manage AD/Entra ID, assist onboarding, coordinate upgrades, and collaborate with teammates and vendors to resolve technical problems for local and remote users.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical support or help desk.
• Bilingual Spanish-English preferred.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 preferred.
• Solid Windows OS troubleshooting and network basics.
• Experience with ITSM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide general troubleshooting and resolution of end-user hardware and software issues.
• Set up and maintain computers and peripherals.
• Respond to service requests via phone, email, and ticketing system.
• Maintain Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD) access and security.
• Install hardware and software upgrades and configurations.
• Coordinate upgrades and manage related projects.
• Document internal procedures and maintain technical documentation.
• Provide remote assistance and help onboard new users.
• Collaborate with team and vendors to resolve issues.
