Job summary

Ponca Tribe of Nebraska is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician I–III to provide frontline IT support for computer systems, software, and hardware. The role covers Tier I, II and III support, with occasional training duties and collaboration with IT leadership.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, documenting resolutions, and ensuring timely customer service. The position is based in Niobrara, NE and requires a valid driver’s license and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Office 365, Microsoft OS, mobile devices, networking, and multimedia.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 IT support to users via phone, in person, or help desk.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware/software issues.
• Document issues and resolutions in the help desk system.
• Escalate complex issues to higher tiers as needed.
• Assist in training Tier I & II technicians and perform system administration tasks.
