Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) is seeking an on-site IT support specialist to help customers with computer systems, software, and hardware. You will train users, maintain systems, and diagnose issues while supporting LAN/WAN environments.

A team-oriented, customer-focused mindset is essential. Ideal candidates will hold or be pursuing certifications (A+, Network+, Security+), have excellent communication skills, and be able to work varying shifts and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Certifications in A+, Network+, and Security+ are preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills are essential.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities are required.
• Ability to work efficiently within a team and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Training computer users on basic usage of computer systems.
• Maintaining daily performance of computer systems.
• Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, software, workstations, and servers.
• Running diagnostic programs to identify and resolve problems.
• Resolving technical problems with LAN/WAN and other systems.
• Responding to customer questions via email, in person, or phone.
• Using systems management tools to monitor events and manage a ticket system.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
