Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. (RTI) is seeking an on-site IT support specialist to help users with computer systems, software, and hardware. The role includes training users, maintaining systems, and repairing hardware and servers across client environments.

You will diagnose issues, resolve LAN/WAN problems, respond to inquiries by email or phone, and monitor environments with ticketing tools. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred but not required.
• 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Must be available for varying shifts based on customer needs.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong problem-solving ability.
• Strong verbal communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicle when needed.
• Must travel when required and be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Bilingual ability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Train computer users on basic usage of computer systems.
• Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
• Install, modify, clean up, and repair computer hardware, software, workstations, and servers.
• Run diagnostic programs to identify problems and resolve them.
• Resolve technical problems with LAN, WAN and other systems.
• Respond to customer questions via email, in person or phone.
• Use system management tools to monitor events, manage tickets, and ensure client environments run optimally.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
