Job summary

Riverside Technologies, Inc. is seeking an on-site IT Support Technician to help customers with computer systems, software, and hardware. The role includes hands-on maintenance, training users, and ensuring systems run reliably across LAN and WAN networks.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, good communication, and the ability to work well in a team. Some travel and a valid driver's license are required; driving a company vehicle may be part of duties.

Qualifications

• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferred but not required.
• 1-year experience in similar role preferred but not required.
• Must be available for varying shifts depending on customers’ needs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel when required and to drive company vehicle if needed.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Providing on-site technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Training computer users on basic usage of computer systems.
• Maintaining daily performance of computer systems.
• Installing, modifying, cleaning up, and repairing computer hardware, software, workstations, and servers.
• Running diagnostic programs and resolving problems after identifying the issue.
• Resolving technical problems with LAN, WAN, and other networks.
• Responding to questions from customers via email, in person, or phone.
• Using systems management tools to monitor events, manage tickets, and ensure clients’ environments run optimally.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
