Job summary

Qualifications

• One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services
• One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide help for software, hardware, and network issues across many office and field locations
• Maintain and update workstations, mobile devices, printers, and specialized equipment
• Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and work with tools to monitor and resolve issues
• Teach users about technology, assist with new system rollouts, and offer clear instructions
• Record work, update tickets, and track assets and inventory for technology equipment
