Job summary

WinnCompanies, a leading owner and operator of multifamily housing, seeks an IT Generalist in Boston. You will provide advanced support in a Microsoft 365 and Azure environment, resolving complex identity, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure issues beyond routine support.

You will support property lifecycles, evaluate technology before transitions, help with technology integration for communities, and ensure secure decommissioning of tech and accounts.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• Advanced technical computer skills for technical support in IT environments.
• Ability to summarize and communicate moderately complex information to internal and external customers.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for complex Microsoft 365 and Azure issues.
• Develop and implement automation solutions to reduce manual IT work.
• Support onboarding/offboarding of communities and tech integration.
• Triage and resolve end-user tickets for hardware, software, and network access.
• Maintain end-user asset management across desktops and devices.
• Document recurring issues and update knowledge base and SOPs.
• Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory, Okta, and Microsoft 365.
• Perform routine infrastructure tasks like printers and imaging.
• Ensure data security and access-control compliance.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment tracking.
