Job summary

Wimmer Communities is seeking an IT Manager to lead technology support across our properties and organization. This hands-on leadership role will oversee desktop and help desk, manage Microsoft 365, and drive cybersecurity and data protection initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in information systems, strong communication, and a demonstrated ability to partner with owners and vendors. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule and frequent cross-site collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology preferred.
Experience leading IT teams and service delivery.
Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and networking basics.
Proven ability to manage security, backups, and data protection.

Responsibilities

Lead desktop and help desk support and ensure timely resolution of technology issues.
Administer and support Microsoft 365, including users, groups, permissions, policies, printing, updates, and alerts.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues; document resolutions.
Install, configure, and maintain computers, devices, network gear, printers, and peripherals.
Monitor systems for security, performance, and usability concerns; respond to incidents.
