Job summary

Albuquerque Computer & Electronics Recycling Co. seeks an IT Support Engineer to perform hands-on fieldwork and remote helpdesk support across Windows, macOS, Linux, and UNIX systems.

You will resolve issues, install endpoints, and contribute to projects while delivering high-quality service to clients. The role combines field work with remote support, requiring strong technical knowledge, documentation skills, and the ability to work with end-users and client stakeholders in a fast-paced MSP

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of technical support experience (help desk, service desk, desktop support).
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with Windows Server environments (2016+).
• Proficient with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Familiar with system imaging, endpoint security, and cloud platforms.
• Typing 35 WPM minimum (50+ WPM desired).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for field work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 1 and 2 support for hardware, software, and networking across Windows, macOS, Linux, and UNIX.
• Troubleshoot on-site and remote OS and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure, and manage endpoint systems and applications.
• Provide virtual desktop support and connectivity assistance.
• Document all service activities in the ticketing system and communicate status.
