The University of South Dakota, operated under the South Dakota Board of Regents, seeks an IT Engineer to install, test, and maintain campus infrastructure on campus in Vermillion, SD. The role includes on-call responsibilities and collaboration with vendors to specify hardware and software solutions.
Responsibilities include handling daily service requests, documenting infrastructure changes, and ensuring system performance.
USD is seeking an IT Engineer to provide support to install, program, test, and maintain infrastructure systems at the University of South Dakota. The successful candidate will support hardware and software needs for the campus, work with vendors to specify hardware and software solutions and recommend enhancements to campus infrastructure and resources. This position includes on-call responsibilities. This is a 100% full time position, on campus in Vermillion, SD.
Duties include working with a variety of network services, security systems, email services, directory services, configuration management products, storage systems, virtualization products, cloud services, load balancing systems, and web systems.
