The South Dakota Board of Regents is seeking a capable Construction Project Manager in Vermillion to oversee projects from inception to closeout. You will coordinate with campus departments, design professionals, and operations/maintenance to deliver quality facilities on time and within budget.
Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Management and 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience.
The individual will need experience managing construction projects of all sizes and scope. They will be responsible for client satisfaction, contract management, billing, design, construction administration, and project closeout. This position will complete project management from start to end and will be responsible for coordinating with campus departments, design professionals, operations and maintenance, construction, and project closeout. They will be required to manage the project efficiently so that the project is completed on budget and on schedule.
Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in Construction Management or a related field, a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field, and 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and the position may require work outside of normal business hours.
Final classification and compensation will be based on the qualifications and experience of the final candidate.
