Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Manager, M&A IT Due Diligence Strategy in its Deal Advisory and Strategy practice in Chicago. The role leads IT assessments, drives integration and separation efforts, and partners with executives to deliver strategic IT recommendations during transactions.

Responsibilities include developing current state assessments, governance, and day-1/ post-close plans, while mentoring junior staff and ensuring delivery aligns with deal objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, finance, or related field.
• Experience in IT transformation projects for M&A, including integration/separation and IT risk.
• Strong project management skills and ability to present complex information.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side IT assessments and report findings to senior stakeholders.
• Drive IT integration/separation, post-close planning, and governance frameworks.
• Develop IT current state assessments, entanglements, and operating models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage IT dependencies and risks.
