Job summary

KPMG Advisory is seeking a Senior Associate for KPMG Strategy to assess IT-related opportunities and risks within deal advisory integration and separation efforts. You will develop action plans, drive cost-improvement initiatives, and support cross-functional teams through IT governance and project selection.

The role emphasizes collaboration, communication of findings to non-technical stakeholders, and participation in delivering final project outcomes within a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years external consulting experience for a technology/business consulting firm or related mix of external consulting and tech industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field from an accredited college/university.
• Experience in IT project scopes such as ERP implementations, outsourcing, reengineering, or IT infrastructure upgrades.
• Competency in at least two or more of the following: enterprise systems implementation, IT architecture and infrastructure management, post-merger IT integration, carve-out separation, outsourcing.

Responsibilities

• Assess and quantify IT-related opportunities and risks in deal advisory integration and separation.
• Develop an action plan to address findings and communicate due diligence results non-technically.
• Evaluate IT-related performance and devise plans for improvement and expense reduction.
• Facilitate IT operations integration or separation from a parent organization.
• Oversee offshoring of high-labor activities and renegotiate key IT vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to final projectDeliverables.
