Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager, M&A IT Due Diligence Strategy to join our Strategy group in Deal Advisory and Strategy. You will lead buy-side and sell-side IT assessments, drive IT integration/separation initiatives, and develop draft deliverables for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications include 5+ years in technology consulting with IT transformation and M&A experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and strong project management and Excel cost-modeling skills. Travel as needed; U.S.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent experience in technology/business consulting or related roles, with involvement in IT transformation projects for IT-focused M&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, finance, or related field from an accredited college/university.
• Familiarity with post-merger IT integration, carve-out separation, process reengineering, offshoring, or IT risk and compliance.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to analyze and present complex information for decision-making; proficient in Office 365, especially Excel.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side and sell-side IT assessments across key domains; identify IT risks, opportunities, and investments; deliver due diligence reports with findings and recommendations.
• Drive IT integration and separation initiatives from sign-to-close and post-close stages.
• Develop draft deliverables and work products such as IT current state assessments, entanglement identification, operating model definitions, synergies, and day 1/post-close plans.
• Oversee IT plans execution and establish governance with status reports and risk/issue logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT dependencies and adjust strategies to meet deal objectives.
• Facilitate high-level discussions and lead presentations with executive IT and business stakeholders.
