Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking an experienced IT advisory professional to lead buy-side and sell-side IT due diligence for M&A activities in the Advisory practice. You will drive IT integration and separation initiatives, develop current state assessments, operating models, and day‑1/post‑close plans, while guiding cross-functional teams and presenting to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in technology/business consulting or related roles with IT transformation experience for IT-focused M&A projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, finance, or related field required.
• Familiarity with post-merger IT integration, carve-out separation, process reengineering, offshoring, or IT risk/compliance.
• Strong project management to analyze and present complex information; proficient in Office 365 with strong Excel skills; cost modeling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT due diligence across key IT domains for potential acquisitions, with findings, impact analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Drive IT integration and separation initiatives from sign-to-close and post-close stages.
• Develop IT current state assessments, entanglement identifications, IT operating model definitions, IT synergies, and day 1 and post-close plans.
• Oversee execution of IT plans and establish governance; manage status reports and risk/issue logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT dependencies, risks, and opportunities and align with deal objectives.
• Facilitate high-level discussions and lead presentations with executive IT and business stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; uphold professional and respectful work environment.
