Job summary

UtiliSave, LLC, a pioneer in forensic utility bill auditing, is seeking a hands-on IT professional to own day-to-day IT work for our small technology team in New York. You will be the first point of contact for IT support and vendor issues, collaborating closely with developers.

This role is technical, not just helpdesk, involving testing, QA, documentation, and maintaining systems. Reports to the Technology Lead; opportunities to grow into more development or scripting tasks.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT experience in support or systems administration.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration including user/email management and access control.
• Experience with JIRA or similar ticketing tools.
• Comfortable communicating with external vendors on technical matters.
• Familiar with testing/QA practices and documenting issues clearly.
• Able to work with developers on technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day IT support requests — first point of contact for the team.
• Serve as primary point of contact for IT vendor communications — hosting, infrastructure, software.
• Maintain JIRA hygiene on IT and development tickets: creation, grooming, status updates.
• Work hands-on with developers — supporting testing and validation, tracking issues to resolution.
• Track and follow up on open IT tickets and requests, ensuring timely responses.
• Maintain IT systems documentation — access lists, configurations, runbooks.
