Job summary

Carriage Services in Houston, TX is seeking an IT Desktop Administrator to join our distributed IT Service Delivery team. The role focuses on Level 2 desktop support across the enterprise, interfacing with IT, the Service Desk, and external suppliers to ensure smooth IT operations.

Travel up to 10% is required. The position requires 4+ years of hands-on IT support, strong English communication, ITIL knowledge, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of hands-on IT support in a corporate environment.
• Experience supporting C-Level executives and staff on-site.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus; vendor certifications (Cisco CCNA, MCP) are a plus.
• Microsoft desktop support including Office suite and Windows 10.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day IT support operations including incident, asset, access, and event management.
• Delivery of second-level support interfacing with external Service Desk.
• Maintenance of CMDB and documentation of configuration items.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOE; drive improvements.
• Install, deploy and maintain end-user hardware and software.
• Execute IT operational tasks across network and converged infrastructure; monitor systems.
• Support IT initiatives and projects under function heads; provide project status updates.
• Aim for standardization and service automation; contribute to cybersecurity tasks.
• Provide transparent reporting to local user communities.
