Job summary

Carriage Services in Houston, TX is seeking an IT Desktop Administrator to join our IT Service Delivery team. You will handle second-level desktop support, incident and asset management, and ensure smooth IT operations across business units.

Travel up to 10% to support IT projects and asset inventory. Interface with IT, Service Desk, and external suppliers to provide a single point of contact, while supporting cyber security initiatives and SOE adherence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT service and support in a corporate environment.
• Experience interacting with multi-cultural employees.
• Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• ITIL foundation certification a plus; vendor certifications like Cisco (CCENT/CCNA) or Microsoft MCP are advantageous.
• Microsoft desktop support including Office 365, Windows 10, and related tools.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components and basic networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day IT support operations and incident management for end users.
• Provide second-level support and interface with Service Desk and external vendors.
• Maintain CMDB and asset/configuration data accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards and SOE; contribute to continual service improvement.
• Support end-user devices, peripherals, software deployments, and related services.
• Monitor IT systems and coordinate with network, server, and infrastructure teams.
• Participate in IT initiatives and projects under IT leadership.
• Provide project/status updates to stakeholders and communicate with local users.
• Assist cyber security initiatives and related governance tasks.
