Job summary

Apex Systems seeks a Compliance Business Analyst in San Francisco to strengthen IT Hygiene governance. You will team with IT and business leaders to measure policy adherence, maturity, and the impact of initiatives through dashboards and regular reporting.

Responsibilities include developing reporting mechanisms, acting as a process SME, and delivering monthly performance insights to executives, while advancing policy alignment across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• 6–10+ years of experience in IT compliance, governance, analytics, or related functions.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards or reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or ServiceNow Performance Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operationalize sustainable reporting mechanisms that measure adoption, maturity, and value realization for IT Hygiene initiatives.
• Act as a Process SME with experience defining, implementing, and maturing operating models while ensuring adherence to established processes and governance standards.
• Assess compliance performance by collaborating with IT leaders and initiative owners to evaluate adherence to established policies, standards, and metrics.
• Detect and document instances of non-compliance, negative trends, or emerging risks.
• Produce and distribute monthly compliance and performance reports to leadership.
• Investigate and communicate the drivers behind performance patterns across teams or domains.
• Provide recommendations to refine policies and measures to align with organizational goals.
• Work with other compliance, risk, and governance teams to ensure consistent application of standards.
