Job summary

WSP is seeking a highly organized IT Business Relationship Manager to support our US IT Business Partner in Chicago. You will track and report on performance metrics, oversee multiple workstreams, and coordinate global IT resources to resolve complex issues.

You will lead IT projects, ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and translate IT concepts for non-technical stakeholders, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and driving value across the business.

Qualifications

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and create value in a fast-paced environment.
• 7–10 years of IT, Finance, or BRM-related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of corporate financial reports; IT budgeting experience a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills and build relationships with partners at all levels.
• Analyze, report, and respond to financial and operational metrics.
• Organize and oversee workstreams with the IT Business Partner, tracking progress and follow-up.
• Coordinate global IT resources to elevate issues.
• Draft emails, presentations, and other communications for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand strategy and objectives.
• Lead planning, development, and implementation of IT projects.
• Ensure IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Present and explain complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor outcomes of IT services in meeting business needs.
• Assist in development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards and regulatory requirements.
