Job summary

Smurfit Westrock plc is seeking a Lead IT Operations Business Relationship Manager to strengthen the relationship between IT Services and Mill Leadership. This remote-friendly role requires excellent communication and the ability to manage multiple IT initiatives across the operations landscape.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing IT support, strong stakeholder skills, and familiarity with BRM or Six Sigma concepts. Travel is less than 50% with opportunity to work remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, technology or manufacturing related field.
• Certification in BRM and/or Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment supporting IT and business needs.
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders and communicating at multiple levels.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with key stakeholders in business and IT to drive outcomes and ensure timely project completion.
• Partner with the business to align IT capabilities with strategy and annual operating plan.
• Develop IT roadmaps to support approved projects and IT capacity planning.
• Identify opportunities to enable technology for improved operations.
• Conduct service reviews with business stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
• Be the primary IT service escalation point for business units.
