Job summary

Rithum is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and maintain automation scripts that streamline IT service delivery, endpoint provisioning, and systems administration. You will own automated workflows across user lifecycle using Okta, Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf, with API integrations to support reliable, auditable operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT systems administration, hands-on automation scripting, and experience with AI-assisted tooling to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT systems administration or a related technical role with hands-on automation scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Hands-on experience administering enterprise identity, collaboration, and productivity platforms (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Experience adapting or troubleshooting existing automation to resolve moderately complex issues.
• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and automate workflows.
• Located in the United States Central or Mountain time zone; able to participate in cross-team activities and on‑call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline IT service delivery and endpoint provisioning.
• Own automated workflows across user lifecycle and device provisioning using Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Jamf and API/webhook integrations.
• Instrument automations with logging and alerting so actions are auditable and measurable.
• Translate manual IT operations into reliable automated solutions and document them clearly.
• Use AI tools to accelerate script development and troubleshoot automation failures.
