Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking an IT Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience identifying and managing risk in client environments. You will assist in SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 engagements and contribute to IT controls design and operating effectiveness assessments for financial audits.

As part of the IT Audit team, you will collaborate with senior staff, develop technical skills, and build professional relationships while delivering timely, responsive communications to clients.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science, or related field.
• GPA 3.0+ in major and overall.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Understanding IT controls across applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools.
• Perform IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Collaborate with client personnel to gather evidence and analyze testing results.
