Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is seeking a motivated IT Audit intern to help clients identify and manage IT risk and strengthen controls. You will support SOC1/2/3 engagements and IT control assessments under supervision, gaining hands-on experience in a professional services environment.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, relationship-building, and staying current on IT trends while contributing to deliverables for clients across industries.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools.
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
