Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit intern to support testing of IT controls and assist in SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 attestation engagements. You will collaborate with senior staff to understand IT processes and gather audit evidence across industries.

You will develop technical skills while building client relationships, with exposure to risk assessment, control design, and testing procedures in a dynamic advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Working with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results
