Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit intern to assist with evaluating IT controls and risk management in client engagements. You will work alongside senior staff to gain experience in SOC-related attestation engagements and IT control testing for financial audits.

The role emphasizes critical thinking, teamwork, and building client relationships while staying informed on evolving IT trends and risks that affect clients.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools.
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Working with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results
• Delivering commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients
