Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit intern to help identify and manage IT risk, support attestation engagements (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3) and assess IT controls for financial audits. You will work alongside senior staff, gain hands-on experience, and build technical IT audit skills across industries.

You will learn to tests and document IT controls, communicate findings, and contribute to client service excellence while developing your professional career in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of IT controls for applications, databases, operating systems, networks and reporting tools.
• Perform IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of change management, access controls, operations and cybersecurity.
• Collaborate with client personnel to understand IT processes, gather audit evidence, and analyze results.
• Deliver timely, responsive communication to clients and team members.
