Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an IT Audit intern to support the team in identifying and managing IT risk and improving IT processes and controls. You will gain hands-on experience with SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 engagements and assess IT controls for financial audits.

You will learn from senior staff while developing technical skills, working with clients across industries, and building professional relationships that support career growth in a trusted advisory role.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, information systems, computer science or related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher (in major and overall).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating an understanding of IT controls associated with applications, databases, operating systems, networks, and reporting tools.
• Performing IT general control audit procedures including walkthroughs and testing of IT general controls for areas such as change management, logical security, computer operations, cybersecurity, etc.
• Working with client personnel to gain an understanding of IT processes and controls, obtain audit evidence, and analyze testing results.
• Delivering our commitment to unmatched client experience through timely and responsive communication with internal and external clients.
